Puig to leave Barca on loan
Barcelona are planning to extend the contract of young midfielder Riqui Puig for another two years, with his current deal expiring at the end of this season.
It is also added that the Catalans are in the lookout of new suitors who can take the Spaniard on loan so that he can enjoy regular game time.
Puig looks to be not in the plans of Barca gaffer Ronald Koeman after hardly appearing in La Liga this season.
Real Betis have reportedly emerged as a destination for the 21-year as they had previously signed another Barca midfielder Carles Alena with the loan status.
Manchester City are also said to be interested in the La Masia graduate, but they would rather sign him on a permanent deal.
Pochettino eyes Messi
Mauricio Pochettino, who is expected to become the replacement of Thomas Tuchel at PSG, reportedly wants to bring unhappy Barca star Lionel Messi to Parc des Princes, with the Argentine’s contract expiring next summer.
Having previously stated his desire to coach his compatriot Messi, Pochettino is eyeing a summer move and looks to reunite 33-year-old with his former teammate Neymar.
Manchester City are also understood to be the frontrunners for Messi as the presence of former coach Pep Guardiola is expected to play a key role in the transfer.
PSG want Barca’s long target Depay
Paris Saint Germain are looking to rival Barca for Lyon forward Memphis Depay, who could be available for a cheaper value around €5m.
The Dutch star turns out to be a top target for Barca in the January transfer window, having failed to sign him in the summer.
