Tottenham plotting shock move to replace talented attacking star

Tottenham Hotspur confirmed one COVID19 positive in latest testing

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard.

The 27-year-old has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and he needs to leave the club in order to play regular first-team football.

Jose Mourinho worked with Lingard during his time manager of Manchester United and he seems to rate the 27-year-old highly.

According to reports, the London club are now looking to replace Dele Alli with the Manchester United player.

Alli’s form has dipped in recent months and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham eventually, cash in on him this summer.

He has been linked with the likes of PSG recently.

There is no doubt that Dele Alli is a far better player than Jesse Lingard and the decision to replace him with the Manchester United player might not be a wise investment from Mourinho.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds in the coming weeks.

The fans will certainly not be impressed with the signing of Lingard especially at the expense of Alli this summer.

Alli is still a young player and Mourinho needs to be patient with him. A year ago, the Spurs midfielder was regarded as one of the finest young talents in European football. He has all the tools to develop into a world-class player and Spurs will regret selling him now.
