Tottenham transfer roundup: Bale, Dele Alli, Reguilon, Bas Dost

Tottenham transfer roundup - Bale, Dele Alli, Reguilon, Bas Dost

Spurs transfer updates: Bale and Reguilon talks, Alli wanted in exchange, Bundesliga striker as Harry Kane back-up.

Spurs leading the race for Bale

Tottenham are reportedly ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale.

The Welshman’s agent Jonathan Barnett has confirmed the negotiations are underway with the Spurs.

“Gareth still loves Spurs. “We are talking [Spurs, Real and Bale’s camp]. It’s where he wants to be.”

Madrid eye Dele Alli

Tottenham could sign Gareth Bale but at the expense of Dele Alli. The English midfielder has caught the eyes of Los Blancos who are willing to take him in exchange for the Welsh winger.

Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy also looks open to selling the 24-year-old as he is reportedly persistent on bringing back Bale to North London.

Reguilon interest

Spurs have emerged as the latest suitors for Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon and are reportedly having the edge over Premier League rivals Manchester United. Los Blancos are happy to sell the Spanish youngster, who had a breakout season with Sevilla on loan.

The North London club are willing to meet Reguilon’s valuation of 30m euros.

Bundesliga striker on the radar

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Bas Dost as the deputy to Harry Kane. The Bundesliga club values the Dutch striker around 5m euros although Spurs would prefer a loan option.

Mourinho is keen on adding a striker to the ranks after having Kane as the only option in that role.
