Roma have picked up a comprehensive away win against Crotone.
AS Roma continued their excellent form in Serie A by defeating Crotone 3-1 away as striker Borja Mayoral scored a brace.
The former Real Madrid man was quick to the score sheet after slotting the ball into the nets from Mkhitaryan’s cross.
Crotone were close to pulling one back before Roma goalkeeper Paul Lopez denied Messias’ deflected strike while Nwankwo spurned the chance on the rebound.
Mayoral doubled the lead for the visitors after scoring a wonderful curler and minutes later he also won a penalty. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who provided the assist for the first goal, converted the penalty successfully, thus giving Giallorossi an unassailable lead at the end of the half-time.
