Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez set to leave Inter Milan ahead of Lukaku and Dybala’s arrivals

Romelu Lukaku-Inter Milan

According to reports, Inter Milan will sell both Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sánchez this summer.

The Italian heavyweights want to overhaul their attack this summer. They will sanction the sales of Dzeko and Sanchez ahead of the return of Romelu Lukaku and the signing of Paulo Dybala.

According to GOAL, the experienced forwards who both have a year remaining on their contracts will be allowed to depart as Dybala joins in a free transfer from Juventus.

Dzeko joined Inter from Roma last year and scored 17 goals in 49 appearances.

Meanwhile, Sanchez initially joined the San Siro side on loan from Manchester United in the summer of 2019 before making the switch permanent a year later. He has scored 20 times in 109 games.

Lukaku is expected to complete his loan move from Chelsea in the coming days, with the two clubs locked in negotiations.

The Belgian was a member of the Inter side that won the Scudetto under Antonio Conte but left last season to London. But his time in Stamford Bridge did not go as planned, even though he ended up as Chelsea’s top soccer with 15 goals in 44 appearances.

Meanwhile, Dybala will leave Juventus on a free transfer, with Inter in pole position to sign him. According to reports, most of the contract details have been finalised, but the two clubs have yet to reach an agreement over bonus payments.
