Paul Pogba open to joining a rival club
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is set to leave the club at the end of this season when his contract expires.
The Red Devils have not managed to agree on a contract extension with the 28-year-old midfielder yet and the player is now open to joining a rival Premier League club this summer.
According to a report from the Telegraph, Pogba will wait until the end of the season to decide his future and he is willing to listen to all offers on the table.
He would be open to joining a Premier League club as well and Manchester United are powerless to stop him from leaving because of his contract situation.
The Red Devils will not want to lose a world-class midfielder like him on a free transfer and it remains to be seen whether they can convince him to sign an extension with the club.
Pogba has had a mixed time at Old Trafford since his return from Juventus and it will be interesting to see whether the World Cup winner is keen on a new challenge.
Jesse Lingard not keen on Spurs move
Meanwhile, Jesse Lingard has been linked with a move away from Manchester United as well and the player has been on the radar of Premier League side Tottenham.
According to a report from the Express, the 29-year-old attacker could snub the opportunity to join the London club as he prefers to move abroad this summer.
The attacker has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and he needs to leave Manchester United in order to play regular first-team football.
A move to Tottenham might not be ideal for him especially because the Londoners have quality attackers like Son Heung Min and Harry Kane at their disposal.
Lingard needs to join a club where he will play regularly and it remains to be seen where he ends up.
