Inter Milan ready to sell Christian Eriksen after just half a season at San Siro

Inter Milan are looking for a life without Christian Eriksen after just less than eight months since his arrival.

Conte urged Eriksen to 'raise level' to get a start at Inter

The Danish midfielder has been linked with an exit.

Inter Milan are looking for a life without Christian Eriksen after just less than eight months since his arrival.

As per reports, Antonio Conte is willing to offload Eriksen, who he sees not in his plans next season.

Eriksen moved to San Siro from Tottenham in January but has been less impactful for Nerazzurri. The 28-year-old was bought for a reported 16 million pounds.

While the former Spurs midfielder was expecting to get his rhythm back in his first full season, Conte looks to have other ideas.

Instead, the Italian manager is keen on reuniting with Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal. The Chilean star has been put on the transfer exchange by the Catalans with Ronald Koeman at the helm.

Inter are also looking to sell Eriksen for around 44 million pounds so that they can pave the way for Vidal. The 33-year-old is also said to be wanted by Juventus, with new manager Andrea Pirlo eyeing a reunion.

It remains to be seen which of the clubs would be willing to accept such a high price from Inter for the signing of the Danish playmaker.

The former Spurs star has appeared for 17 matches in Serie A last season while managing only seven starts. His return of a goal and two assists is also underwhelming for a player of his standards.
