The Bianconeri have reached an agreement with Santos for the signing of Kaio Jorge.

Juventus have signed Brazilian wonderkid Kaio Jorge from Santos after reaching an agreement with the Brazilian outfit.

The Bianconeri managed to beat several European top clubs for the signing of Jorge, who has been highly rated in his homeland.

Juve will reportedly pay a total of €3m for his services, with €1m as potential add-ons.

A statement from Santos read: “Santos FC and Juventus, from Italy, entered into an agreement for the negotiation of striker Kaio Jorge this Monday (August 2). The Italian team accepted the terms of the Fish and the player will now be released to play in Europe.

“Juventus reached the conditions we presented and which we believe were the best at that time for the Club, given the scenario we found. Good luck to Kaio Jorge, another boy from the village that we’re going to hope to follow his path well,” said Santos FC president Andres Rueda.

The 19-year-old was raised through the youth ranks of Santos before he made his leap into the senior team in 2018. He has since made 84 appearances.

Jorge was also a key part of the Brazilian team that lifted the U-17 World Cup in 2019 where he scored five goals, eventually bagging the Bronze boot.

He will also mark the Old Lady’s first signing in the summer transfer window and is expected to enjoy more game time with the first team for the upcoming season.
