Milan 2-2 Verona: Ibrahimovic scores late equaliser

AC Milan 2 - 0 Bologna Zlatan Ibrahimovic dazzles with a double

AC Milan were held to a 2-2 draw against Verona in the Italian League earlier today in a Serie A encounter at San Siro.

Antonin Barak gave the away side their lead on the 6th minute and then Zaccagni doubled their advantage on the 19th minute.

However an own goal from Magnani allowed Milan back into the game on the 27th minute and Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a stunning equaliser deep into injury time to level the scores or a similar.

Milan are yet to lose this season and Ibrahimovic’s late equaliser saved their blushes.

The Italian giants are now at the top of the table two points clear of Sassuolo.

They will be slightly disappointed to have come away with just a draw from this game. The home side were firm favourites to win here and it will be interesting to see if they can put on a strong reaction in their next game after the international break.

Meanwhile, Verona remained 8th in the table with 12 points from seven games and a win tonight could have lifted them above Juventus in the table in the fourth position.

Verona has made a good start to the season so far and they will be hoping to build on that next time with a strong performance.

They were quite impressive against Milan and on another day they could have easily taken all three points.
