The Portuguese star has been linked with an exit from Turin this summer.

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit speculations have fuelled after Portugal’s exit from Euro 2020.

It was reported earlier that the 36-year-old is pondering over his future at Allianz Arena. At the same time, the Old Lady were also reluctant to offer him a new deal due to his expensive wages, which meant that he could leave for free at the end of next season.

However, According to a new report, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has approached Juve regarding a contract extension until 2023.

The Bianconeri endured a lacklustre season, which saw them lose the Serie A title to Inter Milan. At the same time, their Champions League hoodoo continued with a shock defeat against Porto in the-round-of 16.

However, Ronaldo turned out to be the shining light after racking up 29 goals, which saw him top the scoring charts in the Italian top-flight.

The former Real Madrid star also carried his excellent form to the European Championship, scoring 5 goals in the group stage. Once again, despite his brilliance, Portugal ended up short in the last 16 against Belgium.

PSG and Manchester United have been touted as the potential suitors for Ronaldo should he leave this summer.

Furthermore, the arrival of Max Allegri as the manager of Juve is said to be a stumbling block in the Portuguese star’s survival, as he had previously commented about the Italian manager’s style of play.

Ronaldo continues to defy his age by putting up some impressive performances as if he was in his prime.

Taking the burden of the former Man Utd star and allowing him to operate freely would help the Bianconeri regain their dominance next season.
