Tiemoue Bakayoko heading to Milan on loan

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is thought to be closing in on a loan move to AC Milan this summer.

The 27-year-old was on loan at Napoli last season and he was quite impressive for them. He has previously spent a season on loan at AC Milan as well.

Milan are keen on improving their midfield options and they want to snap him up for another season now.

Bakayoko needs regular first-team football at this stage of his career and a move away from Stamford Bridge would be ideal for him.

The midfielder struggled to hold down a regular starting berth prior to his loan spell and he needs to join a club where he will get the opportunity to showcase his potential every week.

He is highly rated at Milan and therefore a move to the Italian club makes sense for him. Furthermore, he is well settled in Serie A now.

Apparently, the player will sign a contract with the Blues until 2023 before heading out on loan again.

Trevor Chalobah set for a new Chelsea deal

Meanwhile Chelsea youngster Trevor Chalobah is set to be rewarded with a new deal.

The talented young defender made his Premier League debut with the Blues last week and it was a memorable outing for him.

The defender managed to score on his debut with an outstanding effort from long range and he was quite impressive defensively as well.

Chalobah has the potential to develop into a key player for the Blues over the coming seasons and it is no surprise that they have decided to tie him down to a long term deal.
