Manchester United have made their move to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford in a sensational summer transfer.

According to various reports, the Red Devils are currently in advanced talks with the Portuguese superstar to finalise his return to the Premier League.

Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to the former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, and he is now prepared to return to Old Trafford, having snubbed a move to Manchester City.

The Premier League champions have pulled out of the race, and Manchester United are now firm favourites to secure the 36-year-old’s signature.

The Portuguese international is likely to sign a two year deal with the Premier League giants.

Meanwhile, Manchester United Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also revealed in a press conference that Bruno Fernandes is currently speaking to his compatriot. He also assured that Manchester United will always be prepared to welcome the player back if he is leaving Juventus this summer.

The manager of the Italian club Max Allegri has already confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave this summer.

It seems that the stars are aligning for an emotional return to Old Trafford for Ronaldo.

The 36-year-old is one of the greatest players of all time, and he is undoubtedly the best goal scorer of his generation.

Manchester United could certainly use a reliable forward like him, and he would be a massive upgrade on the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani.

With Ronaldo at their disposal, the Red Devils will certainly be one of the frontrunners to win the league. They have already signed two top-class players in Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.
