PSG defender Thomas Meunier is all set to join Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

The Belgian will be a free agent at the end of this month and he is heading to Germany on a free transfer.

Meunier was a target for Tottenham and Manchester United but the Bundesliga giants have stolen a march on their rivals and are now expected to finalise the move soon.

It will be interesting to see how the Belgian performs in the Bundesliga next season. He has the experience and the quality to adapt to the league quickly and make an immediate impact.

Dortmund could use lose Hakimi at the end of this season and Meunier could be a good replacement.

Hakimi is on loan from Real Madrid and Los Blancos could bring him back to the club for the next season.

Meunier had the chance to sign a short term deal with PSG to play their European fixtures but he has opted against it.

The 28-year-old will now prepare for the upcoming Bundesliga season with his new club once this current season is over.

The Bundesliga will begin on the 21st of August this year and the current season ends this week.

Dortmund are all set to begin their pre-season preparations next month.

If Meunier can replicate his PSG form in Germany, Dortmund will have quite a bargain on their hands.

As for United and Spurs, it will be interesting to see who they move for now.
