Lille

Lille will look to get back to winning ways when they host PSG this Sunday.

The Ligue 1 defending champions come into this game on the back of a disappointing 2-0 Brest in their last league game. An early own goal by Tiago Djalo set the ball rolling at the Stade Francis-Le Blé before Steve Mounie sealed the win for Brest in the 94th minute.

The result means that Les Dogues have taken thirty-two points from 22 Ligue 1 games. That point return represents an extremely poor campaign for defending champions Lille who by this time last season had 48 points, 16 points more than they have now.

However, that loss to Brest ended a nine-match unbeaten run in the league (W4, D5), showing how much they have improved in recent times.

They are on course to finish outside of the top half unless they can patch a leaky defence that has conceded 30 league goals to date – already seven more than they shipped throughout the entirety of last season.

Although their impressive home league form (W5, D4) remains an asset, the fact they have failed to score in six of their previous seven competitive home H2Hs with PSG will leave fans fearing the worst here.

Possible Lille starting line-up

Ivo Grbic; Zeki Celik, Jose Fonte, Sven Botman, Gabriel Gudmundsson; Angel Gomes, Benjamin Andre, Renato Sanches, Jonathan Bamba; Burak Yilmaz, Hatem Ben Arfa.

Injured: Leo Jardim

PSG

After their midweek exertions in the Coupe de France, PSG will return their attention to their quest for a tenth league title when they travel to Lille this Sunday.

The visitors come into the tie on the back of after a penalty shootout loss in their Coupe de France round of 16 tie against Nice earlier this week.

They will be looking to channel that disappointment effectively and make nine straight Ligue 1 H2H wins over opposition teams managed by current Lille boss Jocelyn Gourvennec.

However, they have drawn their last three away games in the league. But given their record against Lille, they will fancy their chances of getting a good result in this game.

Possible PSG starting line-ups

Ginaliugi Donnarumma; Achraf Hakimi, Thilo Kehrer, Presnel Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes; Leandro Paredes, Xavi Simons, Marco Verratti; Lionel Messi, kylian Mbappe, Julian Draxler.

Injured: Sergio Ramos, Gini Wijnaldum, Neymar

Unavailable: Abdou Diallo and Idrissa
