The Argentine manager has been linked with an exit after one season at the French capital.

Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly informed PSG about his desire to leave this summer, with Tottenham and Real Madrid interested in his services.

The Argentine boss took over the charge at Paris Saint-Germain last summer but has somehow failed to meet the expectations.

Les Parisiens ended up losing the Ligue 1 title to Lille while failing in the Champions League semi-finals against Manchester City. During his debut season, the Argentine’s silverwares turned out to be Trophee des Champions and Coupe de France.

Pochettino’s exit links have surfaced in recent weeks, with Tottenham said to be keen on his reappointment.

The Argentine gaffer plied his trade at Spurs over five years before being sacked towards the end of 2019.

The North Londoners are currently looking for a new manager and open to joining hands with the former Espanyol boss for one more time. Besides him, Tottenham have expressed their interest in Antonio Conte, who recently quit Inter Milan.

Pochettino’s name is also on the wishlist of Real Madrid as they continue their search for Zinedine Zidane’s successor. The French gaffer stepped down from the role recently after failing to inspire Los Blancos to a single title.

Pochettino had been linked with Real several times in the past, but it will be interesting to see whether he would return to La Liga after nearly a decade.

Los Blancos are also considering options like Conte and Raul for the vacant managerial position.
