Seventeen-year-old Ansu Fati, who was showered with interest and offer from Manchester United, scored his fifth La Liga goal of the season as Barcelona registered 2-0 victory over Leganes at Camp Nou. Barcelona captain Lionel Messi was the other scorer.
The Guinea-Bissau forward produced a clinical finish from 20 yards, at an empty Nou Camp. Manchester based club offered 100millions to Barcelona for Fati and Barca tagged the teenage sensation as “Unsellable”. Its difficult to get playtime in star-studded team, but Ansu Fati had always had an effect. He had been a teenage talent with great temperament.
At 16 years and 298 days, Ansu Fati became the second-youngest first-team player in Barcelona history when he made his debut in a 5-2 win over Real Betis on 25 August last year. Having moved to Spain at the age of six with his family, he has been with Barcelona’s youth academy since 2012.

Barcelona are five points clear of nearest rivals Real Madrid, but Real have played one match less. So the effective lead that the Camp Nou side have is of 2 points. With nine matchday still to be played, it would be interesting battle between the top two in La Liga.
