Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich will look to make it two wins in two league games when they welcome Wolfsburg to Allianz Arena this Sunday.

The Bundesliga record holders began their quest for an eleventh league title last weekend with a 6-1 demolition of Eintracht Frankfurt away from home.

In a one-sided game at Deutsche Bank Park, five first-half goals from Joshua Kimmich, Benjamin Pavard, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry and new signing Sadio Mane gave them a commanding first-half result before a late Jamal Musial goal completed the rout after Randal Kolo Muani had scored for the hoists.

They will now look to continue their impressive run of scoring form and there is no better opponent to do that against than Wolfsburg; a team they have never lost against at home in the Bundesliga. They have also scored at least two goals in each of their last 14 league meetings with Wolfsburg and given that they have scored eleven goals in their last two games, they will fancy their chances of getting a couple of goals in this game.

Possible Bayern Munich starting line-up

Manuel Neuer, Benjamin Pavard, Lucas Hernandez, Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies; Joshua Kimmich, Marcel Sabitzer; Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller, Jamal Musiala, Sadio Mane.

Injured: Eric Chupo-Moting, Leon Goretzka

Doubtful: None

Suspended: Kingsley Coman

Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg will look to get their first win in the new season when they travel to the capital this Sunday.

The visitors opened their account this season with a disappointing 2-2 draw with Werder Bremen last weekend.

In a battling game at the Volkswagen Arena, Die Wölfe opened the scoring in the eleventh minute through Lukas Nmecha. But two quick-fire goals in the first half by Niclas Fullkrug and Leanardo Bittencourt gave the visitors a one-goal lead.

However, an 84th-minute strike by Josuha Guilavogui ensured that Niko Kovac’s side went home with a point. Having already seen his side beat lower-league side Carl Zeiss Jena in the DfB Pokal, Kovac will hope to continue his unbeaten start to life in Wolfsburg when he visits his former side on Sunday.

Possible Wolfsburg starting line-up

Koen Casteels; Ridle Baku, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Maxence Lacroix, Micky van de Ven; Maximilian Arnold, Mattias Svanberg; Patrick Wimmer, Josip Brekalo, Omar Marmoush; Lukas Nmecha.

Injured: Kilian Fischer, Yannick Gerhardt

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None
