The Norwegian sensation continues to be the transfer subject of Europe’s top clubs.

Erling Haaland never ceases to amaze the football fans with his unbelievable consistency of finding the nets week in and week out.

After enjoying a spectacular debut season at Borussia Dortmund last term – which put him in the spotlight, the Norwegian striker has started the new season with a bang, collecting a total of 7 goals and 3 assists in 5 Bundesliga appearances. Adding to it, he also scored a goal in Dortmund’s Champions League opener against Besiktas.

Dortmund managed to fend off the transfer interest from Europe’s top clubs during the summer transfer window as they insisted that the Haaland was not for sale.

However, European giants like Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are planning to move for him next summer when his reported release clause of 75m euros will be active.

Amid the growing interest, Dortmund CEO has spoken about Haaland’s future, stating that the chances are difficult to keep him at Signal Iduna Park.

The BVB chief said: “Of course it will be difficult. But I’m not saying it’s completely out of the question. We will do everything we can to keep our top players with us in the future.”

“We have to have the self-confidence to say we’ll find a new top striker again.”

Dortmund has shown that they can replace their talented stars and the most recent example was Jadon Sancho.

The highly-rated English winger joined his long-time suitors Manchester United in the summer but Dortmund acted quickly to sign Donyell Malen from PSV as his replacement.
