Bayern Munich picked up another emphatic win in the Bundesliga against newly-promoted Furth.

Bayern Munich defeated newly-promoted Furth 3 – 1 in the Bundesliga despite Benjamin Pavard’s red card early in the second half.

Thomas Muller, Joshua Kimmich were on target while Furth’s own goal helped the Bavarians pick up another emphatic win.

Bayern have been playing relentless attacking football under Julian Nagelsmann this season and they have managed to beat the likes of Barcelona, RB Leipzig and Bochum by a big margin.

The Bavarians have scored 23 goals under the former Leipzig boss after 6 games in Bundesliga this season, which is perhaps a record for a new manager at a new club.

Nagelsmann kicked off the new season with a draw against Borussia Monchengladbach, which put him under question. However, he shook off things sooner by embarking on an impressive winning streak – eight victories out of eight games across all competitions.

However, Robert Lewandowski couldn’t be happier about his impressive scoring run coming to an end.

The Polish goal machine had been on a relentless goal-scoring run in the last 19 games for Bayern in all competitions however he failed to extend it against Furth.

A goal could have seen him equal Gerd Muller’s record of scoring in 16 consecutive games in the Bundesliga.

Nonetheless, Lewandowski, who was recently bestowed with the European Golden shoe award, has seven goals to his name in Bundesliga this season.

Bayern will face Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League group stage game on Wednesday.
