Burnley 0-1 Tottenham: Kane, Son headers bring 3-points for Spurs

Son-Harry Kane-Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur picked up a 1-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League earlier today at Turf Moor.

Son Heung-Min scored the only goal of the game for the London club, and the win takes Tottenham up to 5th in the table now.

Harry Kane made the assist as he set the ball up for Son with a header, after the England captain made a goal-line save few minutes earlier.

Jose Mourinho will be reasonably pleased with his team’s start to the Premier League this season and Tottenham have 11 points from their six games so far.

Liverpool and Everton are leading the table with 13 points from six games, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can bridge the gap in the coming months.

The South Korean attacker has been in fantastic form since the arrival of Jose Mourinho, and it is no surprise that he helped Tottenham win today’s game.

Meanwhile, Burnley continued their disastrous start to the season, and they have picked up just one point so far in the Premier League.

If they continue to perform at this level, they are destined to get relegated to the championship eventually.

Sean Dyche has done a great job at Burnley so far, but the club let him down in the transfer market, and they are paying the price for that this season.

Burnley needed more additions to the squad, but the club failed to back the manager during the summer transfer window.

It will be interesting to see if Burnley can turn their form around and put together a winning run in the coming weeks.

Tottenham were firm favourites heading into this game, and the fans will be relieved with the result in the end.

Although the Londoners were not at their best, they managed to grind out the result at a tough away ground, and they can be pleased with the outcome.

Last season Tottenham dropped points in games like these, and it will be interesting to see if they can secure a top-four finish this season.
