Chelsea picked up a 3-0 win over West Ham United in the Premier League earlier tonight.

The Blues took the lead through Thiago Silva ten minutes into the game. The Brazilian defender powered in a header after a fantastic corner from Mason Mount.

The Blues were highly impressive going forward and they managed to carve out quite a few chances over the course of the ninety minutes.

Chelsea scored through Tammy Abraham on the 18th minute but the goal was ruled out after the assistant spotted that the ball had gone out of play for a West Ham goal kick.

The visitors got back into the game around the 30-minute mark and the Hammers enjoyed considerable possession until half time. However, they failed to create any clear cut chances.

Chelsea could have doubled their advantage at the stroke of half time but Timo Werner missed an opportunity after being sent through by Christian Pulisic.

The Blues finally doubled their advantage on the 78th minute when Tammy Abraham found himself unmarked in the area and steered in across from Timo Werner.

The Chelsea forward doubled his tally on the night two minutes later with a tap in to make it 3-0 to Chelsea.

The Blues could have added another during the closing stages of the game but Timo Werner hit the top of the crossbar.

The win takes Chelsea up to 5th in the Premier League table with 25 points and West Ham United dropped down 10th in the standings with 21 points.
