Frenkie de Jong attracting interests

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong could be on his way out of the Spanish club at the end of this season.

According to reports, the Spanish club are under financial stress and they could look to cash in on the Dutchman in order to raise some funds.

Apparently, German champions Bayern Munich are keen on signing the former Ajax midfielder and it will be interesting to see if the Bundesliga side can pull off the transfer in the summer.

Frenkie de Jong is one of the most talented young midfielders in world football right now and losing him would be a crushing blow to Barcelona.

Laporta on Lionel Messi Contract

Meanwhile, former Barcelona president Joan Laporta has claimed that Lionel Messi should be handed a new big money contract.

According to the Barcelona presidential candidate Lionel Messi generates far more than he costs and he deserves to stay at the club for the long term.

The Argentine superstar will be a free agent at the end of this season and it will be interesting to see if Barcelona can convince him to continue at the Spanish club.

Messi has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City in the recent months and it will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.

“You could argue many reasons for him staying. I prefer to think about what Leo generates, which is a lot – certainly more than his salary may cost,” Laporta told.

Neymar Revelation

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has revealed that he is happy in Paris right now.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move away but he is not worried about his future just yet.

Neymar has two years left on his current contract and PSG will try to secure an extension with him soon.

It will be interesting to see if the Brazilian decides to commit his long term future to the club in the coming weeks.

The 28-year-old seems content with life at Paris Saint-Germain and the idea of leaving the club has not crossed his mind yet.

Neymar’s revelation will come as a major blow to Barcelona who have been linked as a potential destination.

He said: “I am very happy here in Paris. I am very happy at the club, with my teammates. The idea of leaving does not cross my mind. We have to discuss. We have a very good relationship and see what will happen in the future. “

Jorge Jesus unhappy with Jean-Clair Todibo

In other news, Jean-Clair Todibo could be on his way back to Barcelona when the transfer window reopens in January.

The young defender has been sent out on loan to Benfica so that he can play regular first-team football but he has already fallen out with the manager Jorge Jesus.

Apparently, the Benfica coach does not rate the Barcelona defender and he will be allowed to return to his parent club next month.

Todibo has no future at Barcelona and he needs to find a permanent solution next month.

He has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past and it will be interesting to see if the young Frenchman can secure a permanent exit from the Spanish club soon.
