Getafe

Getafe will look to bounce back from their recent defeat when they welcome unbeaten Real Madrid to Coliseum Alfonso Perez this Saturday.

Enrique Flores would have thought his side had made it out of the woods when they secured back-to-back victories over Real Sociedad and Osasuna after going on a five-game winless run.

However, Getafe fell to a 2-3 loss to Real Valladolid last weekend to bring their winning streak to an early halt.

Getafe will now look to regroup and quickly bounce back from their demoralizing defeat, but face a stern test against Carlo Ancelotti’s in-form side who are yet to taste defeat this season.

With one win and one draw in their last three encounters, Enrique Flores’ side have been a thorn in Real Madrid’s flesh lately, but their indifferent form this season could be their undoing against their city rivals.

Possible Getafe starting line-up

David Soria; Damian Suarez, Djene Dakonam, Domingos Duarte, Gaston Alvarez, Juan Iglesias; Carles Aleña, Angel Algobia, Mauro Arambarri; Borja Mayoral, Enes Ünal.

Injured: Jaime Seoane, Mauro Arambarri

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Real Madrid

Real Madrid saw their winning start to the league season come to a grinding halt when they faced Osasuna last weekend with the game ending in a shocking 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Blancos were expected to dominate the affairs against Jagoba Arrasate’s team, but it turned out to be a night of frustration for the champions.

Vinicius Junior’s first-half goal was cancelled out by Kike Garcia early after the restart, but more crucially, Karim Benzema missed a late penalty. David Garcia was sent off for the visitors, but the holders failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage as Osasuna hung on for a draw.

Following their first dropped points of the season, Madrid have slipped to second place, trailing Barcelona (19) on goal difference after seven games.

But Carlo Ancelotti saw his team make a quick bounce back when they beat Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 in the Champions League in midweek. The Italian coach will be eager to see his team pick up yet another win as they continue their title defence. But they face a tricky test against a physical Getafe side.
