The German midfielder says that Real Madrid can lure the best players to Bernabeu.

Real Madrid star Toni Kroos has given his verdict on Kylian Mbappe‘s speculations, stating that Los Blancos have the ability to sign the best players in the world.

Kroos said that he wouldn’t be surprised if the Spanish capital club would pull off Mbappe’s transfer, although he insisted that the club’s financial state is not the same as before.

“I prefer to talk about signings that have already been completed. “

“But since Real [Madrid] always want the best, I would not be surprised.”

The German midfielder also added that Erling Haaland, another potential target for Madrid, wouldn’t come cheap.

Kroos added: “Next to him [Mbappe], Haaland is definitely the most interesting player on the market, and therefore [would] not exactly [be] cheap.

“We must not forget that we are in a period where there’s not an endless flow of money and, at the same time, we are completing our stadium [which] is not free either.”

Madrid continue to be a long time suitor of Mbappe, who has been mooted to be the next Galactico signing.

The French World Cup has created tension among the PSG hierarchy after reportedly not accepting a new deal, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2022.

However, recent reports state that the 22-year-old has decided to stay put at the French Capital club for the upcoming season as he is looking forward to linking up with Lionel Messi. The latter is highly expected to sign for PSG in the coming days.

Les Parisiens boss Mauricio Pochettino has also ruled out Mbappe’s exit in the event of Messi’s arrival.
