Paris Saint-Germain are set to lose Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid this summer and the Ligue 1 side are now looking to sign Erling Haaland as the Frenchman’s replacement.

According to the Telegraph, the French club have sounded out the player’s agent Mino Raiola over the possibility of signing the Norwegian striker this summer.

Borussia Dortmund have been adamant that they will not sell the 21-year-old striker anytime soon and it remains to be seen whether the Bundesliga outfit can hold on to the player now.

Paris Saint-Germain will be flush with cash after the departure of Kylian Mbappe and they could submit a massive bid for Haaland if they want to.

Haaland already has a clause in his contract that will force Dortmund to sell the player for a more reasonable price next summer and it wouldn’t be surprising if they are tempted to sell him for a higher fee this summer.

The French outfit have already signed the likes of Lionel Messi this summer and the signing of Haaland could complete their front three.

The 21-year-old Norwegian striker is one of the best in the world in his position and he could prove to be the ideal long term investment for PSG.

The French outfit needed to sign a quality striker anyway. The likes of Mauro Icardi have been vary consistent since he moved to Paris, and Haaland would be a massive upgrade.

The 21-year-old scored 41 goals and picked up 12 assists across all competitions last season and he has already managed five goals and three assists in just four matches so far this season.
