Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a move away from the Italian club and it seems that the player is heading to the Premier League with Manchester City.

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for the 36-year-old as well but club chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has closed the door on a potential transfer.

PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has claimed that the club have not had any talks with Ronaldo.

“Ronaldo? We do not have any talks open with him,” Khelaifi told reporters.

The Ligue 1 outfit are set to lose Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid and they will need to bring in a top-class replacement.

There have been rumours that they could consider a move for Cristiano Ronaldo but it seems that the player is heading to the Premier League instead.

Ronaldo was the best player in the Premier League during his time at Manchester United and the 36-year-old will be hoping to make a similar impact at Manchester City once the transfer goes through.

Meanwhile, PSG are reportedly looking to sign the Everton forward Richarlison as a replacement for Mbappe.

It will be interesting to see how Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Manchester City goes down with the Manchester United fans given the bitter rivalry between the two clubs.

The Red Devils played a key role in Cristiano Ronaldo developing into one of the best players in the world and their fans would hate to see him playing for a direct rival.
