PSG

Paris Saint Germain will resume their domestic title defence against Brest when the pirates visit Parc des Princes.

The Paris-based outfit put on an impressive display against Juventus in their midweek Champions League. Star duo Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe combined early on to give PSG the lead inside five minutes, and the French man got his second of the night 17 minutes later, this time with a neat exchange with Achraf Hakimi.

Weston McKennie drew one back for the Old Lady with a powerful header, but the damage had already been done as the Parisiens secured all three points.

PSG have started life under Christophe Galtier on a high and are yet to taste defeat in the League, winning five out of their six League games so far this season with the latest being a 0-3 win against Nantes last weekend.

With Marseille level on points with the Champions and Lens not too far behind, Christophe Galtier will be working on his guys to put in yet another dominant display against Brest and avoid dropping any points as they aim to maintain their perfect start to the season.

Possible PSG starting line-up

Gianluigi Donnarumma; Danilo Pereira, Sergio Ramos, Marquinhos; Achraf Hakimi, Vitinha, Marco Verratti, Nuno Mendes; Lionel Messi; Kylian Mbappe, Neymar.

Brest

Brest will travel to Paris with one of the worst records in the Ligue 1 this season. With one win, two draws and three losses, the Pirates sit in 17th place with a point tally of five, 5 goals scored and 16 conceded.

With such defensive frailties, Michel Der Zakarian will have to devise a means to stop a free-scoring star-studded attack.

Brest come into this encounter off the back of a 1-1 draw at home against Strasbourg. Piere Melou gave Brest the lead in the sixth minute, but Ludovic Ajourne equalised for the visitors from the penalty spot. Despite the visitors being reduced to ten men through a straight red card to Sanjin Prcic, Michel Zakarian’s side failed to make use of the numerical advantage.

The Pirates have been particularly poor in this fixture with five losses in their last five encounters with the capital club, the Pirates will be anxious to get one over the league leaders for the first time in the history of this fixture.

Possible Brest starting line-up

Marco Bizot; Jean-Kevin Duveme, Christophe Herelle, Achraf Dari, Lilian Brassier; Hugo Magnetti, Pierre lees-Melou, Haris Belkebla; Franck Honorat, Matthias Pereira Lage, Islam Slimani.

Injured: Jeremy Le Douaron, Steve Mounie, Romain Del Castillo, Noah Fadiga
