Andreas Christensen and Danny Drinkwater are among four released by Chelsea

After ten years, Andreas Christensen is set to leave Chelsea when his contract expires later this month. 

It is confirmed that he is all set to join Barcelona. He follows Antonio Rudiger after the German defender finalizes his move to Real Madrid. 

The Denmark international joined Chelsea when he was 16-year-old from Brondby in 2012. He made a total of 161 appearances in 6 seasons and won the FA Cup, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and the Champions League with the club.

On the other hand, Danny Drinkwater is also exiting the club. In 2017, After winning the Premier League against Leicester, he signed for Chelsea. However, he just made just 23 appearances in 5 seasons, with his most recent competitive match coming in the 2018 Community Shield.

According to BBC, Charly Musonda and defender Jake Clarke-Salter have also confirmed to leave the club.
