Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian international striker Gabriel Jesus this summer.

The 25-year-old is set to leave Manchester City in search of regular first-team football, and a move to the North London club would be an outstanding opportunity for him.

Jesus has shown that he can be a reliable goal scorer with a consistent run of games, and he will be hoping to lead the attack under Mikel Arteta next season. He managed to score 13 goals across all competitions last season.

Arsenal have recently parted ways with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners are now relying on Eddie Nketiah as their only striker. It will be interesting to see if they can complete the signing of Jesus in the coming weeks now.

According to the latest reports, the negotiations between the two clubs are very advanced now, and Jesus has his heart set on a move to the London club. Spurs and PSG are keeping tabs on his situation as well.

The Manchester City forward is versatile enough to play anywhere across the front three, and he should fit in well with Arsenal’s style of play.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have completed the deal to sign the former Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira as well.

It seems that Arsenal are focused on adding more goals and creativity to their side this summer.

The Gunners narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification last season and will be desperate to return to Europe’s premier tournament next year.

It will be interesting to see if the likes of Vieira and Jesus can help them overtake the likes of Tottenham in the Premier League table next season.
