Real Madrid Midfielder Martin Odegaard is all set to complete his loan move to Arsenal this week.

The player is expected to complete his medical with the Premier League club today and it will be interesting to see if he can resurrect his career but regular game time at the London club.

Odegaard had fallen down the pecking order at the Spanish club and he needed to leave in order to play more often.

Arsenal could definitely use some extra creativity in their midfield and the attacking midfielder will be hoping to establish himself as a regular starter for Mikel Arteta.

Mesut Ozil complete Fenerbahce move

Meanwhile, Arsenal have completed the permanent sale of Mesut Ozil to Turkish club Fenerbahce.

The Turkish outfit have completed the transfer and Ozil will now look to move on with his career with a fresh start.

The German international had not played for Arsenal since March 2020 and he needed to leave the club in order to kick start his career.

Ozil is a boyhood fan of Fenerbahce and it will be interesting to see if he can have a significant impact on his new club during the second half of the season.

Mat Ryan loan move

Finally, Arsenal have signed Mat Ryan from Brighton on a short term loan deal.

The Gunners needed to bring in a quality backup option do their number one Bernd Leno and Ryan could prove to be a decent addition.

The London club sold Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa at the start of this season and they have missed unreliable backup options since then.

Mat Ryan has been starved of game time with the Seagulls and it will be interesting to see if he can get some game time with his new club in the coming months.
