Kounde lined up as Rudiger’s replacement

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is all set to leave the club at the end of the season.

The German international is nearing the end of his contract with the Premier League club, and he has decided to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

According to a report from football London, the Blues have now identified a potential replacement for the German defender, and they could move for Jules Kounde.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in the Spanish league, and he has been exceptional for Sevilla for over a year now.

The Frenchman has the potential to develop into a world-class defender, and it will be interesting to see if Chelsea can agree on a fee for him this summer.

Satriano on Chelsea’s radar

Meanwhile, the Blues are looking to improve their attacking options as well and they are looking to sign the Inter Milan forward Martin Satriano in order to add more depth in the final third.

A report from the Mirror claims that the Uruguayan international is a target for Tottenham as well and it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up.

The 21-year-old needs to join a club where he will get considerable first-team action and moving to Chelsea could be ideal for him.

The likes of Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku have been major disappointments since joining the club and Satriano could push them for the starting birth next season.

At Tottenham, he will have to compete with a top-class striker like Harry Kane in order to get regular action.
