Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has now provided the club chefs with his list of preferred foods and it seems that his teammates are not keen on some of his choices.

According to the Sun, the 36-year-old eats up to six times a day and he is extremely strict when it comes to his diet.

The Portuguese international has asked the Manchester United chefs to add his favourite foods to the menu in the club canteen.

Reports claim that Ronaldo’s favourite food on the list was a traditional Portuguese Stew called Bacalhau. Apparently, the former Juventus star prefers proteins like slices of ham, eggs and avocados as well.

However, his teammates are not too keen on the addition of octopus on the menu.

A United insider said: “He also loves octopus, but most of the lads won’t go there – even if it clearly works for Ronny!

“Cristiano is very much into his proteins, stuff like slices of ham, eggs and avocados, and the chefs are trying to help him with a little taste of home.”

Ronaldo has been in exceptional form since his return to Manchester United and the 36-year-old has scored four goals in four matches across all competitions for the Red Devils.

It will be interesting to see if 36 year old can build on his impressive start to life in the Premier League and help Manchester United and their title drought this season.
