Everton Roundup: Benitez wants Isco and Jovic; Richarlison drops transfer hint

Richarlison-Everton

Benitez keen on Isco and Jovic

Everton are reportedly keen on signing Luka Jovic and Isco Alarcon from Real Madrid.

According to a report from Defensa central, the Premier League club are extremely keen on signing the two players during the January transfer window and it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid are willing to sanction their departures.

Isco is in the final year of his contract with the Spanish club and a loan deal seems unlikely for the midfielder. Everton will probably have to sign him permanently but George could be available on a loan deal.

The 23-year-old striker has struggled for regular game time and he has been used as a squad player by Carlo Ancelotti so far this season.

Everton could definitely use more creativity in their midfield and another reliable goal scorer.

It remains to be seen whether they can pull off both transfers when the transfer window reopens in January.

Richarlison drops transfer hint

Brazilian forward Richarlison has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park for months now and Paris Saint Germain were reportedly weighing up a move to sign him during the summer transfer window.

However, Kylian Mbappe ended up staying at the French club and PSG did not move for Richarlison. The player has now revealed that he is unsure about his future at Goodison Park.

“I’m always very careful when I talk about it. I have great affection for the people of Everton and for the club, who received me so well from the first day I arrived,” the Brazilian told Olé.

“I don’t know what the future holds,” he admitted.

“If one day I have to go, it must be good for me, but also for the club. But if I stay, I’ll continue giving my life for this shirt and for the fans, who have always supported me and were with me at all times.

“I have enormous gratitude and feel at home when I’m at Finch Farm or Goodison Park.”

It remains to be seen whether Everton can hold on to their key attacker beyond this season.

Richarlison has been an excellent signing for the Toffees since his move from Watford and he has shown that he has the quality to play at a higher level.
