Juventus keeping tabs on Manchester United summer signing

Donny van de Beek-Manchester United

Italian champions Juventus are thought to be keeping tabs on the Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

The Dutch international moved to the Premier League earlier in the summer but he has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth at Old Trafford so far.

The likes of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have been prioritised ahead of him in the starting lineup and it will be interesting to see if the Dutchman can force his way into Solskjaer’s first-team plans in the coming months.

During his time at Ajax, Donny van de Beek was highly rated around Europe and he has the potential to develop into a world-class player.

It will be interesting to see if Juventus make their move to sign the Dutchman at the end of the season.

Donny van de Beek needs to play regular first-team football in order to achieve his potential and someone like Andrea Pirlo would probably appreciate his talent more and help him grow.

A lot would depend on Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United as well. If the Frenchman decides to move on, Manchester United might not be willing to sell another central midfielder. His exit would open up a starting spot for Van de Beek as well.

Also, Juventus have been linked with a move for Paul Pogba in the recent months and it will be interesting to see which Manchester United midfielder they end up signing eventually.
