Jack Grealish completed his mega-money move to  Manchester City earlier today, and the player has now sent out a message to Aston Villa and the fans on social media.

The 25-year-old has been a boyhood Aston Villa fan, and he had the opportunity to captain the club as well.

The midfielder revealed in a statement that he has been at the club for 19 years, and it has been a privilege for him to guide the club through the ranks of English football.

Grealish managed to lead Aston Villa to the Premier League as their captain, and there is no doubt that he will go down in the history of the club as one of their most exciting players.

The midfielder also hopes that the fans will understand his reasons behind seeking a new challenge.

Grealish is undoubtedly one of the best players in the Premier League, and he deserves to be playing at a higher level.

The 25-year-old has clearly outgrown Aston Villa, and he needed to join a club like Manchester City in order to achieve his potential and fulfil his ambitions.

Meanwhile, Grealish thanked the supporters for their affection towards him over the years. He revealed that it is an exciting time to support the club because of the talented young squad and the exciting new signings coming in this summer.
