The long and drawn-out transfer saga involving Jadon Sancho has finally come to an end.
Sancho will now join up with his new teammates for pre-season training and prepare for the upcoming season.
The Red Devils needed to add more flair and goals to their attack, and Sancho seems like an ideal fit for them.
Upon his return to the Premier League, the winger revealed that it is a dream come true for him to join a club like Manchester United, and he always wanted to return to England.
After completing his move, Sancho said: “It’s an honour. Growing up, Manchester United was one of the biggest clubs that everyone knows, and of course, there is also all the trophies they’ve won, and there have been many iconic players that have come before me. So I’m very happy to be wearing this jersey now.”
The 21-year-old attacker scored 17 goals and picked up 20 assists across all competitions last season. It will be interesting to see if he can quickly adapt to the Premier League and help Manchester United challenge for the Premier League title.
The Red Devils have paid top dollar for his services, and the youngster will be expected to instantly hit the ground running and transform the Manchester United attack.
