Klopp planning break after Liverpool stint ends in 2024

Jurgen Klopp reaction, after Liverpool won Premier League

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he will look to take a break from football when his contract with the Reds expire in 2024.

The German manager has done a stellar job at Anfield so far, and he has helped the club win the Champions League, the Premier League, the Club World Cup, the UFEA Super Cup in the past year.

The Reds fans will be hoping that their manager can continue for many more years.

Klopp has also hinted that he could end his career as a manager if he feels like he doesn’t miss the game after his sabbatical.

He said: “I’ll take a year off and ask myself if I miss football. If I say no, then that will be the end of coach Jurgen Klopp. If one day, I am no longer a coach, there is one thing I will not miss: the brutal tension immediately before the game.”

It will be interesting to see if Klopp can help Liverpool defend their title next season. He will certainly be hoping to do better in the Champions League next year.

Liverpool struggled to challenge for the top honours before Klopp’s arrival, and they will not want to let him leave anytime soon. It will be interesting to see if they can change his mind down the line and convince him to stay beyond his current contract.
