Leeds United are closing in a deal to sign Rodrigo Moreno from Valencia.

According to the latest reports, the club officials are in Spain to seal the transfer.

Leeds United are expected to pay around 40million euros for the attacker and it will be interesting to see how he performs in the Premier League next season.

Rodrigo has done well for Valencia this past season but the Spanish club are in a financial crisis right now and they’re looking to cash in on some of their key players.

Leeds need to improve their attack before the new season begins and Rodrigo should prove to be a very useful option for them.

The Spaniard is much more than a goal scorer and his hard-working style of play should help him fit into Marcelo Bielsa’s system.

The player is expected to complete his medical with Leeds United soon and it will be interesting to see if the Whites manage to announce the transfer this week.

Rodrigo Moreno picked up seven goals and eleven assists for Valencia last season and he would certainly be an upgrade on Patrick Bamford.
