Liverpool Transfers: Reds eyeing record move for Bellingham, Pedri on Klopp’s radar

Jude Bellingham-Borussia Dortmund

Liverpool prepared to break transfer record for Jude Bellingham

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham

According to reports, the highly talented central midfielder is a top target for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, and the Reds could break their transfer record to sign him.

Bellingham has developed into a key player for club and country over the past year, and he has the potential to grow into a world-class footballer.

Liverpool are prepared to pay around £80 million for the 18-year-old midfielder who signed for Borussia Dortmund back in the summer of 2020 for a fee of around £25 million.

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can agree on a deal with the German outfit and leave the England international to the Premier League at the end of this season.

Pedri on Klopp’s radar

Meanwhile, Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Barcelona midfielder Pedri as well.

The Spanish international has been a mainstay for Barcelona and his national team over the past year. He is regarded as one of the finest prospects to have come out of the famed La Masia Academy.

Pedri has a contract with the Spanish outfit until the summer of 2022, but Barcelona have an automatic renewal option that could tie the midfielder down to a two-year extension.

It will be interesting to see if the Reds can put forward a lucrative proposition for the Spanish club and sign the youngster in the coming months.

Barcelona are under tremendous financial pressure, and they have already lost Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi earlier this summer. A good offer could tempt them into selling the youngster as well.
