Man City plotting a big-money move for Bundesliga duo at the end of this season

Erling Haaland-Borussia Dortmund

Manchester City are interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and midfielder Giovanni Reyna at the end of this season.

According to reports, the Premier League clubs are considering offering the German club in excess of £100 million for the two players.

The 20-year-old Norwegian striker is already a world-class player and there is no doubt that he could prove to be a sensational addition to Pep Guardiola’s attack.

City need to bring in a quality alternative to Sergio Aguero who could leave the club in the summer.

Haaland would be the ideal replacement for the legendary Argentine striker next season.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old midfielder Giovanni Reyna is a tremendous talent as well and he has a big future ahead of him.

He has already made an impact with the Borussia Dortmund first team and Pep Guardiola could help him develop into a top-class player just like he has done with Phil Foden.

It will be interesting to see if Dortmund are willing to cash in on their prized prospects at the end of this season.

The German club are under financial stress because of the pandemic and if they miss out on Champions League qualification, they could be forced to sell a few key players in order to balance the books.

There is no doubt that Manchester City had the resources to pull off two massive signings in the summer and it will be interesting to see if they can fend off the competition for the two players.
