Tottenham ready to spend big on Paulo Dybala after Mourinho request

Paulo Dybala-Juventus

Tottenham are being linked with a move for the Juventus forward Paulo Dybala once again.

The Argentine international was heavily linked with the London club last season but the move never materialised.

It seems that the Premier League club are keen on pursuing the Juventus attacker once again and they are prepared to offer around 70 million euros to sign him.

According to reports, Jose Mourinho has requested Tottenham to sign the Argentine international next month and the London club are willing to make an effort to sign the player.

Tottenham already have a quality striker in Harry Kane and Son; they have signed a backup striker in Carlos Vinicius this season.

Spurs also have Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Steven Bergwijn and Jack Clarke as back up. They are also spending huge on Gareth Bale with not so much utilisation.

It will be interesting to see how they accommodate both Kane and Dybala in the same starting lineup should the Argentine decide to move to North London

Paulo Dybala has a contract with Juventus until the summer of 2022 and he has not signed an extension with the Italian club yet.

Juventus will be under pressure to cash in on him at the end of this season if the situation does not change in the next few months.

A move to Tottenham would certainly be an interesting step in Paulo Dybala’s career.

The Premier League is always an exciting option for top players and the chance to work with Jose Mourinho could tempt the Argentine striker.

The Tottenham manager is a proven winner and he could take Dybala’s game to another level.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham submit a concrete offer to Juventus for the player next month and how the Italian giants react to it.
