Manchester United secured a 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League earlier.
Bruno Fernandes scored the only goal of the game in the second half from the penalty spot.
Anthony Martial came close to giving Manchester United the lead early on in the game but he was denied by Sam Johnstone twice.
The Baggies were awarded a penalty at the start of the second half after a foul from Bruno Fernandes on Conor Gallagher. However, the decision was overturned by David Coote after the referee reviewed the pitchside monitor.
Fernandes was then awarded a penalty on the 56th-minute which was saved initially. VAR adjudged that the West Brom goalkeeper came off his line too quickly and therefore the Manchester United midfielder was allowed to take his penalty once again and the Portuguese international managed to convert.
It was the first home win of the season for Manchester United and they are now up to 9th in the table with 13 points.
Manchester United will be reasonably pleased with the outcome but they will know that the performance was not the best and they will have to improve a lot in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile West Bromwich Albion stayed 18th in the Premier League table with just three points and they will have to turn their form around soon if they want to beat the drop this season.
