Mourinho threw in both Dele Alli and Gareth Bale at 64th and 72ns minute respectively. He had already made it clear about his opinion on these two players. But then, Bale put some vintage Bale moments on display.

Tottenham are eight in the Premier League with 36 points and they will need a massive slice of luck to finish in the top four now. Mourinho will be under tremendous pressure after his team’s miserable run of form.

The Portuguese was heavily backed during the summer transfer window and he would have been expected to guide the Londoners to a top four finish.

Manchester City are up to 53 points in the League table and they will be firm favourites to win the title this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side came into this game on the back of a big win over Liverpool and the Spaniard would be delighted with his team’s performance tonight.

There is a possibility that @ManCity could win everything this season. So good.
Gary Lineker tweets : This @GarethBale11 fella looks quite good. Seems to have something. Might just be worth a run of games.
No Spurs player had more shots (2) or shots on target (1) vs. Man City than Gareth Bale. He only came on in the 72nd minute.
