Manchester United are planning for a mass exodus this summer, and up to ten first-team players could be sold before the new season begins.

According to reports, the likes of Phil JonesEric BaillyAxel TuanzebeJesse LingardAlex TellesDiogo DalotAndreas PereiraBrandon WilliamsAnthony Martial and Daniel James could all be sold in the coming weeks.

Manchester United have been quite active in the transfer market so far, and they have already completed a big-money signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

The Red Devils are now expected to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.

Manchester United will have to recoup some of that money through sales this summer, and the players mentioned above could be on their way out of the club this summer.

Most of them have failed to hold down a regular starting berth at Old Trafford, and they are likely to fall further down the pecking order next year.

For example, the likes of Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe will struggle to get game time at Manchester United after the arrival of Varane.

Similarly, Daniel James is unlikely to start ahead of Jadon Sancho next season.

The Red Devils should look to reduce their wage bill by offloading the fringe players and investing in individuals who can improve the squad dramatically.

Manchester United will be hoping to win the Premier League title next season, and they must look to improve their midfield options before the transfer window shuts.

On top of that, the Red Devils must ensure that they hold on to their key players.
