Memphis Depay, Timo Werner and Nicolas Pepe are among three players that have been offered to Newcastle United in recent weeks according to reports.

According to 90min, the Magpies have been given the opportunity to sign a host of high-profile forwards with the trio among the biggest names on the list.

Newcastle, who have already signed goalkeeper Nick Pope, centre-back Sven Botman and left-back Matt Targett, have ambitions of strengthening their attacking options.

Ideally, Eddie Howe would like to sign a wide forward and a striker, though the club’s ability to spend big is hampered somewhat by the need to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

Nevertheless, several players have been offered to the club by agents and intermediaries in recent weeks, with Newcastle currently considering the options that have been offered to them, including the trio of Depay, Werner and Pepe.

Timo Werner is thought to be surplus to requirements at Chelsea after failing to produce the goods at Stamford Bridge since his arrival from RB Leipzig. He has been reportedly put on the transfer list by Thomas Tuchel’s side, who will be willing to sell him should the right offer come.

Depay and Pepe are also in a similar position as Werner at Barcelona and Arsenal, with their clubs all keen to move them on this summer following underwhelming performances last season.

Another player who has been offered to Newcastle is Paris Saint-Germain’s, Julian Draxler. The Ligue 1 champions are looking to reduce their hefty wage bill and will be willing to sell Draxler, Mauro Icardi and Georginio Wijnaldum this summer.

Meanwhile, Watford duo Emmanuel Dennis and Ismaila Sarr are also being considered by Newcastle.

Both players will also be available for knockdown fees following the Hornet’s relegation to the Championship last season.
