Tottenham Hotspur have been quite active in the transfer market this summer, and Antonio Conte has already signed three players to improve the depth and quality of his squad.

The Londoners are far from finished in the market and eyeing a move for the Bundesliga defender Piero Hincapie.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a key player for Bayer Leverkusen, and he helped them qualify for the Champions League this past season.

Apparently, the defender is valued at £34 million, and it’ll be interesting to see whether the Londoners are willing to pay that kind of money for his services.

The 20-year-old is highly rated around Europe, and he has the potential to develop into a top-class defender in the future.

Tottenham signed Cristian Romero last summer, and the Argentine proved to be a massive success in the Premier League. Conte will be hoping to bring in the Bundesliga starlet as Romero’s defensive partner for the next season.

The defender has a long-term contract with Leverkusen, and therefore the German outfit or under no pressure to sell him this summer.

It seems unlikely that they will reduce the asking price for the youngster, and Tottenham might have to pay a premium to secure his services.

As for the player, he needs to join a club where he can play regularly at this stage of his career, and if Tottenham are willing to give him game-time assurances, a move to the Premier League could be a tempting proposition for him.

Furthermore, the youngster could improve immensely under the management of a world-class manager like Antonio Conte.
