EPL Transfer: Liverpool keen on Ocampos, Chelsea begin Sule talks, Arsenal’s Kossounou interest

Bayern Munich crash out of DFB Pokal

Liverpool keen on Ocampos

Liverpool are interested in signing the Sevilla attacker Lucas Ocampos at the end of this season.

Jurgen Klopp wants to add more depth to his attacking unit and Ocampos would be a superb signing for them.

The Argentine scored 17 goals last season and he can play anywhere across the front three. Just like Diogo Jota, he could be the ideal backup option to Liverpool’s usual front three.

The likes of Mane and Firmino have struggled in the recent months and the Reds could use someone like Ocampos to ease the burden on the current front three.

Apparently the Reds are looking to complete a swap deal involving Japanese international Takumi Minamino, who is currently impressing on his loan spell at Southampton.

Chelsea begin Sule talks

In other news, Chelsea have opened talks to sign the German international Niklas Sule from Bayern Munich.

The 25-year-old centre back has fallen down the pecking order at the German club and he has been linked with a move away from Bundesliga.

Chelsea could definitely use some defensive reinforcements and Sule would be a promising addition alongside Thiago Silva.

Tuchel needs to improve his defensive options if the Blues want to fight for the top honours next season.

Arsenal want Kossounou

Meanwhile Arsenal are interested in signing the Ivory Coast midfielder Odilon Kossounou.

The 20 year old is highly rated by Club Brugge and it will be interesting to see if the Gunners can convince the Belgian outfit to part with the youngster this summer.

Kossounou has a big future ahead of him and Arsenal could help him fulfil that potential.
