Telles linked with a swap deal for Serie A midfielder

Manchester United left-back Alex Telles, who has been playing second fiddle to Luke Shaw, is planning to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Perhaps, the Brazilian was signed from Porto last summer as United looked to make him a starter from the off. However, Shaw’s revival saw him go behind the pecking order.

Now, United are reportedly planning to use Telles in a swap deal for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The Bianconeri are said to have placed the French midfielder on the transfer exchange after a disappointing season.

United are considering Rabiot as a replacement for Donny van de Beek, who is seeking an exit this summer.

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice laughed off when he was asked by the fans to join United while the midfielder was socialising with his best friend and Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.

Rice has evolved into one of the coveted midfielders in the Premier League, which led to the interest from the Red Devils.

Calhanoglu transfer blow

Man Utd have suffered a setback in their pursuit of AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkish international’s contract had been heavily linked with an exit this summer as his contract was set to expire. United were understood to be one of the potential suitors. However, they have now suffered a blow as Calhanoglu has agreed to a new three-year deal with Rossoneri after a productive season.
