Jose Mourinho-Tottenham Hotspur

Tanguy Ndombele absense in Derby

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has now revealed why Tanguy Ndombele was left out of the North London Derby squad on Sunday.

Apparently, the former Lyon midfielder had an injury issue and he could not recover completely.

The Frenchman has managed to establish himself as a key player for Jose Mourinho this season and he is expected to play a big role for Tottenham in the coming months.

After struggling to hold down a regular starting berth last year, the midfielder seems to have finally adapted to his new club and English football in general.

It will be interesting to see if Ndombele returns to action in the Europa League during the midweek.

Serge  Aurier Transformation

Another player who has improved massively over the last few months is Serge Aurier.

The full-back has managed to impress a lot under Jose Mourinho and he is now a regular starter for the Tottenham manager.

At one point the former Paris Saint-Germain defender was expected to leave the club but he has managed to turn his career around at the London club.

Tottenham have kept 5 clean sheets in their last six matches and Serge  Aurier is one of the main reasons why they have been so well organised at the back.

Franck Kessie Linked

Finally, Tottenham remain keen on signing the AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

The Ivorian midfielder is highly rated in Italy and he has been a key player for Milan this season.

He has the attributes to succeed in English football and the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham are keen on signing him.

The midfielder is valued at 40 to 50 million euros and it will be interesting to see which English club comes forward with an offer for him.

Kessie has a contract with Milan until the summer of 2022 and if the midfielder refuses to extend his deal with the Italian club, they will be under pressure to cash in on him at the end of this season.
