Tottenham Transfer: Latest on Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Ndombele move

Dele Alli-Tottenham Hotspur

Christian Eriksen

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen this month but a move appears unlikely after the Italian club changed their stance regarding a transfer.

According to reports Inter Milan are only going to consider a permanent move this month whereas Tottenham were keen on a loan deal.

Christian Eriksen became unlikely hero of the match against city rival AC Milan as he score winning goal during added time in Quarter final of Coppa Italia.

It seems that the Denmark international will have to continue at the Italian club until the end of the season.

Alli won’t be allowed to leave

Meanwhile, Spurs have decided to block Dele Alli’s exit this month.

The 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the London club and he was linked with a loan move to Paris Saint Germain.

However, Tottenham have failed to secure a replacement for the midfielder and Daniel Levy will not sanction the transfer.

It is reported that the only name that was considered as replacement was Christian Eriksen. As the Eriksen transfer became unlikely, Spurs put a hold on midfielder move to PSG.

Alli needs to play regular first-team football in order to cement his place in the Euro 2021 England squad and it will be interesting to see if he can convince Mourinho to give him another chance.

Ndombele transfer desire

Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has opened the door to a move to Paris Saint Germain.

The French international revealed that he had spoken with Kylian Mbappe regarding a move to the capital club.

He told Telefoot: “I’m a boy from the Paris region. Wearing the Paris jersey one day? Why not – but today I’m in Tottenham, and it’s going well.

“I spoke with Kylian about a possible coming to PSG. Two or three years in a row we discussed it.

“It didn’t happen and today at Tottenham it’s going well, but why not in the future?”

“My first season was tough, I questioned myself a lot, now the page is turned

“It is true that at a certain moment I wanted to leave, I didn’t feel in the right place. I told them I wanted out. They didn’t want me to go.”

The former Lyon midfielder has done well at Tottenham so far and he has a big future ahead of him. It will be interesting to see if the Premier League club can hold on to him beyond this season.
